Abhishekagni Convention to be held in Dublin on February 28

The Abhishekagni Word Service, initiated by Father Xavier Khan Vattayil, will be held in Dublin on February 28, 2026.

The convention will take place at the Blessed Margaret Ball Church from 11 am to 3:30 pm.

The event is part of the wider Abhishekagni mission, which has been active for over two decades and is known for organising Malayalam-language Catholic conventions across Europe, including the UK. The Dublin gathering is being coordinated by the Anointing Fire Catholic Ministry (AFCM), with ministers from Ireland and the UK, along with priests from Kerala, leading the service.

The programme will include the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Word Service, Praise and Worship, and opportunities for Holy Confession.

Organisers said the aim of the convention is to strengthen faith within families and renew spiritual commitment in the community, helping believers face contemporary challenges with deeper spiritual grounding.

AFCM Ireland has invited all members of the faithful to take part in the one-day spiritual gathering.
