In order to give customers more time to finish their holiday shopping, Aldi will increase their opening hours in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. nationwide from Monday, December 19, through Friday, December 23. Aldi will close its doors on Christmas Eve at 7 p.m. and reopen on December 27 at 9 a.m.
Additionally, they’ll be closed on New Year’s Day and close at 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
Niall O’Connor, ALDI Group Managing Director, said: “It’s important to us that our customers get enough time to stock up on all the essentials they need for Christmas this year. We are extending our opening hours during Christmas week to make sure more shoppers can avail of our fantastic, award-winning range of food and drink offerings and conveniently pick up everything they need for a festive Christmas.
“We also would like to recognise and thank our amazing colleagues who go above and beyond to serve their local communities every day at ALDI. Therefore, we will once again be maintaining our tradition of keeping our stores closed on St Stephen’s Day.”
