Five people are being treated in hospital after they were injured in a two-car collision in Co Waterford. Two cars collided on the N25 near Ballyduff East just after 4 pm on Sunday.
Emergency services attended the collision on the N25 road near Ballyduff East in Kilmeaden, Co Waterford, shortly after the incident.
The driver of one of the vehicles was a woman aged in her 40s. She was taken to Waterford University Hospital where she is in a serious but stable condition.
A male teenager, a passenger in the car, was also taken to Waterford Hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the second car, a man in his 70s, and two passengers, a man and woman both in their 50s, were taken to Cork and Waterford University Hospital where they are all in a serious but stable condition.
“Gardai are appealing to any person who may have witnessed this collision to contact them. Any road users who were traveling who has camera (including dashcam) footage, is asked to make this available to Gardaí.
