Portugal have decided to open its borders to travellers from EU member states where the Covid spread rate is considerably low. Travellers can opt Portugal for enjoying their vacation. The authorities have said that people who come in should present their Covid negative certificate.
Restrictions have been lifted already for travelers from UK and they can enter Portugal from Monday. Certain countries which have only 500 positive cases per 100,000 people are only eligible to enter Portugal.
As of now, Portugal have allowed people from Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein to fly in. People who fail to present the Covid negative certificate taken before 72 hours of journey will be fined €500 to €2,000.
