SSE Airtricity Announces 10% Price Cut for Electricity and Gas in Ireland

SSE Airtricity has announced a 10% reduction in prices for household electricity and gas in Ireland, starting from July. This move is expected to save customers around €150 on their electricity bills and €100 on their gas bills annually. The standing charges, however, will remain unchanged.

This price cut comes as a welcome relief to SSE Airtricity’s 250,000 electricity customers and 90,000 gas customers across the country. The company had previously reduced prices in February, with electricity rates dropping by 12.8% and gas rates by 11.5%.

SSE Airtricity’s decision to lower prices again highlights their commitment to providing more affordable energy solutions for Irish households. As energy costs remain a significant concern for many, this reduction is expected to ease the financial burden on customers and provide some much-needed relief.

The consistent efforts by SSE Airtricity to adjust prices favorably reflect their ongoing support for their customers amid fluctuating energy markets.
