A man in his 20s died in Tallaght in Dublin following a stabbing incident. The 25-year-old has been attacked by another man around 7.15pm on Tuesday at Mac Uilliam Road. It is believed that the victim was standing beside his home while he got into an argument with another. During the incident, another man in his 40s also got injured while trying to save the victim’s life.
The victim has been transferred to Tallaght Hospital soon after the incident but pronounced dead after a short time. He received wounds on neck, it was told. The suspect and victim were known to each other, Garda believes. The suspect is understood to have had a Jack Russell dog with him when the attack happened.
Following the incident Garda started an inquiry and asked anyone who had been at Mac Uilliam Road, where the stabbing happened to come forward.
