Dunnes Stores, a popular Irish retailer, has issued an urgent recall for three types of baby sleepsuits due to a potential choking hazard. The recall affects nearly 10,000 items sold between May and August this year.
The problem? The zip slider on these sleepsuits might detach, creating a small part that babies could swallow and choke on. The recalled items include:
- Lion Zip sleepsuit
- Bunny Zip sleepsuit
- Animal Zip sleepsuit
These sleepsuits were available in various sizes, from newborn to 18 months.
If you’ve bought any of these sleepsuits, here’s what you should do:
- Stop using them immediately
- Keep them away from children
- Return them to any Dunnes Stores for a full refund
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has alerted the public about this safety issue. Dunnes Stores is taking the matter seriously and encourages customers with questions to email customerservice@dunnesstores.com.
Remember, when it comes to baby safety, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Check your little one’s wardrobe and return any affected sleepsuits as soon as possible.
