The move comes as a response to the challenges faced by Irish customers, aiming to streamline their shopping experience. With the upcoming Ireland-based platform, shoppers can sidestep customs charges and currency conversion fees. Additionally, the website will showcase a broader array of products sourced from Irish businesses.
This initiative follows Amazon’s establishment of a warehouse and distribution center in Ireland back in 2022. The forthcoming Amazon.ie is poised to enhance accessibility, affordability, and convenience for Irish consumers, marking a significant milestone in the e-commerce landscape.
