Art and mindfulness session for children with mindfulness coach Orlaith O’Sullivan will be held at the Swords library in Dublin.
This mindfulness session is part of the Hello How Are You? campaign.
Orlaith O’Sullivan
Orlaith O’Sullivan is a mindfulness educator, poet, and writer. She is also the founding member of the Community of Contemplative Education, Mind & Life Europe’s group to cultivate human flourishing through education.
O’Sullivan, who lives in Dublin, Ireland is the International Coordinator of Wake Up Schools, the award-winning grassroots organization for mindfulness in education.
Her work has been shortlisted for the William Trevor International Short Story Competition and the J. G. Farrell Award. She is also the winner of the Fish-Knife Award for Crime and The Stinging Fly Prize.
Swords Library
Swords library located at Swords shopping center, is organizing this art and mindfulness session as part of the Hello How Are You? campaign.
In this fun creative session, the idea is to explore children’s feelings through mindfulness and drawing. As well as teach the children how to take care of themselves.
The age group of the children that can attend this session is 8-12 years. The mindfulness session has been planned for 7th April from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
