Blackrock Health Group has announced plans to generate 1,000 new jobs across its Dublin and Galway facilities over the next five years.
This significant growth comes as part of a €500 million investment aimed at expanding the group’s operations in Ireland.
The investment will primarily focus on enhancing the Blackrock Clinic and Hermitage Clinic in Dublin, as well as the Galway Clinic.
These major expansions are set to bolster the group’s capacity and capabilities in delivering top-tier healthcare services.
In addition to new staffing, the expansion will include the introduction of 187 new beds, with 77 of these dedicated to in-patient care and the remaining 110 earmarked for ambulatory care. This move aims to meet increasing demand for hospital services in the region.
The plans also outline the construction of 14 state-of-the-art operating theatres and the installation of six new cardiac cath labs and a cancer centre.
