Bray Air Display set to enthral audiences on August 3rd

In what promises to be a spectacular event, the Bray Air Display will take place on August 3rd showcasing the awe-inspiring skills of world-class pilots with thrilling aerobatics and breathtaking formations.

The event will feature a variety of aerial performances, including the vintage charm of the Mustang ‘Miss Helen’ and the precision formation flying of Team Raven. Attendees will be mesmerized by the breathtaking aerobatics performed by skilled aviators, pushing the limits of precision and skill.

On the ground, visitors can enjoy the Seafront Funfair, explore a static display by the Irish Defence Forces, and indulge in delicious offerings at the Food and Craft Village. Helicopter rides over Bray Head will also be available.

The festivities will start at noon, with the Bray Air Display kicking off at 3 pm.

Sé Pardy, Flight Display Director of the Bray Air Display, highlighted the event’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of aviation enthusiasts. “We hope everyone enjoys the incredible aerial displays and the variety of family fun we have planned for Saturday, August 3rd,” Pardy said.

This year’s lineup includes impressive acts such as the Aer Lingus Airbus A320neo, AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers, and the historic Battle of Britain Memorial Flight featuring the Lancaster, Spitfire, and Hurricane. Performances by Eddie Goggins, the Irish Air Corps, and the Royal Jordanian Falcons, among others, will captivate the audience.

The event will also include a Search and Rescue display honouring the selfless men and women safeguarding Irish lives.

To reduce the event’s carbon footprint, attendees are encouraged to use greener transport options such as public transport, car-sharing, walking, or cycling. All guests are advised to arrive before 2 pm and must pre-book their parking space online at the official event car parks.
