The Revenue Commissioners reported that cannabis worth more than €1.5 million had been seized at Rosslare Europort.
About 77kg of the drug was discovered by Revenue officers and the Garda at the Co Wexford port on Monday.
During a search of an unattended trailer that had arrived on a ship from Cherbourg, France, the drugs were discovered.
Investigations are ongoing.
