Dublin airport issues warning on banned children’s toys in hand luggage

Dublin Airport has issued a warning to travelers, especially those with young children, about certain items that are not allowed in hand luggage. As the busy summer season saw 3.2 million passengers in June, security checks are stricter, and long queues form quickly.

The airport highlighted that toy guns and hurls are among the items that cannot be carried in hand luggage. These items should be checked in if necessary. A spokesperson shared images of confiscated toy guns and hurls, reminding parents of the rules.

According to Irishmirror, other banned items include firearms, replica guns, airguns, BB guns, crossbows, arrows, stun guns, pepper sprays, and various tools like drills and saws. Ensuring these items are not in carry-on luggage will help maintain smooth security checks for all passengers.
