The European Medicines Agency had found that AstraZeneca vaccine is very effective and strong in defending the Covid 19 virus. The vaccine was temporarily banned by many European countries as people who took vaccines suffered a blood clot in their body. On that grounds, the EMA had warned the people to be more careful on this aspect.
The regulator is continuing the tests as the reason for blood clot hasn’t been confirmed yet. Over 20 million people have took AstraZeneca vaccine and seven cases were reported with a very rare blood clot, disseminated intravascular coagulation. Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis was found in 18 people. These have been reported in Italy, Germany, India, UK, Norway and Spain.
The blood clot situation is mainly found in elder women. The investigators who are still researching on the reason for the blood clot doubts that smoking, use of contraceptives etc. may be the reason.
