Galway Hosts Region-Wide Youth Meet ‘Alive-24’ on April 6th

Galway is gearing up for an exciting event as preparations for the Galway Region Youth Meet, ‘Alive-24’, are entering their final stages. Scheduled for Saturday, April 6th, the event will bring together over two hundred enthusiastic young participants from various regions including Cavan, Tulmore, Letterkenny, and more. Hosted at Galway Leisureland from 9am to 4pm, attendees can look forward to a day filled with activities including Holy Communion, group discussions, worship, and games.

Bishop Mar Stephen Chirapanath, Visitor Bishop of Syro-Malabar Church in Europe, will grace the occasion and inaugurate the Genesis Bant Live Show. The event will also feature live performances by SMYM Ireland’s youth band GENESIS BAND and talented individuals from the Galway region.

Fr. Binoj, the SMYM in Europe Director, will lead the sapling programs alongside other dignitaries from the Syro Malabar Church in Ireland and Galway’s Brethren Church. The evening will conclude with a live show open to both youth and families, followed by a provided meal for all participants.
