Green line luas services suspended due to power line issue

This morning, all services on the Green Line Luas have been suspended due to a technical problem with the overhead power lines. Technicians are on-site working to fix the issue.

Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus during the disruption, and Red Line services are still running.

The problem was discovered by Luas drivers this morning, leading to a complete suspension of Green Line services. Inspections of the overhead lines and tram pantographs are ongoing and could take several hours to complete.

The line will reopen in phases, starting with Brides Glen and St Stephen’s Green, and eventually reaching Broombridge.

Staff are at key Luas stops to help customers, and updates are available on the Luas website, app, and through traffic and travel news.
