Following the seizure of cannabis valued at €2.4 million by Dublin garda, four men have been detained on drug trafficking-related charges.
On Thursday, just after 2 p.m., garda officers stopped two vehicles and searched a home in the south inner city area and a business in west Dublin.
In the course of the operation, 120 kilograms of cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €2.4 million was recovered.
The pair aged 39 and 46 are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice today morning.
The other two men aged 25 and 39 have been released without charge. A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
