Met Éireann has forecast a warm and humid spell, with temperatures reaching up to 24 degrees. Today will see a mix of clouds, sunny spells, and showers, particularly in the west and northwest.
Tonight will remain humid with temperatures between 14 to 17 degrees. Patchy rain and drizzle will spread eastwards, though eastern counties may stay dry until dawn.
Friday morning will bring scattered rain and drizzle, followed by heavy rain moving across the western half of the country by late morning and reaching the east by afternoon. Sunshine and isolated showers will clear the west by evening, extending nationwide.
Temperatures will range from 17 to 23 degrees. The night will be cooler, with lows of 8 to 11 degrees and clear spells.
Saturday will feature a mix of clouds, sunny spells, and scattered showers, becoming confined to the west and north by evening with highs of 16 to 19 degrees.
Sunday will be mostly cloudy with morning rain and drizzle, followed by heavy rain and potential local flooding in Connacht and west Ulster in the afternoon and evening. Highs will be 15 to 18 degrees.
On Bank Holiday Monday, expect showers or longer spells of rain with possible thundery downpours, remaining humid with highs of 18 to 23 degrees. The unsettled weather is likely to continue into next week.
