Ireland has elected all 14 of its representatives to the European Parliament after a five-day vote count. The final tally concluded at 3:10 am today.
From the ruling parties, Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael each secured four seats. The main opposition party, Sinn Féin, won two seats. Additionally, the Labour Party gained one seat, with two independents and one candidate from other parties completing the list.
Fianna Fáil increased its representation by two seats, while Sinn Féin gained one more seat compared to the last election. Fine Gael, however, lost one seat. The Labour Party maintained its single seat, and two independents were notably successful this time. The Green Party, which had two MEPs in the previous term, did not win any seats.
