New “Grow Digital” portal launched to boost business digitalisation

Dublin – Businesses across Ireland now have a new tool to help them embrace digital technologies with the launch of the Grow Digital website. Minister of State for Trade Promotion, Digital and Company Regulation, Dara Calleary, announced the new initiative aimed at helping businesses assess and improve their digital capabilities.

Grow Digital provides tailored advice and recommendations, highlighting government supports available through agencies such as Local Enterprise Offices, Enterprise Ireland, Údarás na Gaeltachta, and IDA Ireland. The portal includes a unique Grow Digital Scorecard, offering personalized guidance and information on potential supports and funding options.

“This free service, funded under the Digital Transition Fund, is designed to help businesses at any stage of their digital journey,” said Minister Calleary. “It’s especially beneficial for those just starting out, offering a roadmap to digital success.”

Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Peter Burke, emphasized the portal’s role in unlocking new opportunities. “Digitalisation can make businesses more competitive and efficient. Grow Digital provides a range of case studies showcasing digital success stories, which will grow to include more businesses across various sectors.”

Grow Digital was developed in partnership with Enterprise Ireland, with input from Local Enterprise Offices, Údarás na Gaeltachta, and IDA Ireland. The initiative is a key part of Ireland’s National Digital Strategy, aiming for 90% of SMEs to achieve at least basic digital intensity and 75% to adopt AI, Cloud, and Data Analytics by 2030.
