Gardai arrested nine persons on Tuesday morning in connection with the riots in Dublin city centre last November.
The arrests of eight men and one woman came after the force carried out searches at separate locations in the city this morning. They are currently being held in a garda station in Dublin.
With this, the total number of arrests in connection with the riots has gone up to 49. A number of persons are currently before the court in connection with the case.
Rioting broke out in the Irish capital on the night of November 23 after a girl, aged five, was severely injured, and two other children were wounded in a knife attack at Parnell Square.
Cars, buses and a Luas tram were set ablaze while businesses were looted and extensively damaged during the riots.
