Met Eireann has issued a yellow weather warning for 18 counties as fog causes threat in the country. It includes all of the counties in Munster and Leinster.
Following this, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) advised drivers to take extra care while driving as the visibility will be significantly reduced. The RSA appeal to drive at a minimum speed by keeping safe distance from other vehicles. Also head light and fog lights must be kept on.
If you are going out for walk or cycling, make sure you wear reflective or easily visible cloths.
The waning is in effect from 1am and valid until 11am today.
