Santa gets green light for Irish Christmas delivery, confirms Taoiseach

Taoiseach Simon Harris has officially cleared Santa Claus for entry into Irish airspace this Christmas Eve, putting to rest concerns about potential holiday delays due to Storm Darragh’s impact on key ports.

According to The Journal, In one of his first actions as head of the 34th Dáil, Harris signed the crucial authorization document at Leinster House, ensuring Santa’s sleigh will have unrestricted access to Irish airspace and any necessary airports or airfields on December 24th.

“Santa will be able to deliver presents to all the boys and girls across the country,” Harris announced in an Instagram video message. However, he emphasized there’s a special condition to the agreement: children must be on their best behavior for their parents in the lead-up to Christmas Eve.

The Taoiseach also confirmed that Santa will be following his traditional protocol of checking his Naughty and Nice list twice, adding an extra incentive for good behavior.

Despite earlier worries about Storm Darragh’s damage to important ports, sources close to Santa’s North Pole workshop have confirmed that all necessary toy-making supplies have been secured. Workshop operations are reportedly running smoothly, with one critical requirement remaining – children must maintain their belief in Christmas magic to ensure successful deliveries on Christmas morning.

The authorization comes as welcome news to families across Ireland, ensuring that Christmas celebrations can proceed as planned, with Santa’s annual gift-giving journey remaining firmly on schedule.
