Squirrels are always known for their charming pose while eating food and they are very fond of collecting food items for the future. Such a squirrel has collected some black walnuts for the coming winter season to prevent being starved off in North Dakota in the US.
Are you wondering ‘so what?’ Then hear this, the walnuts collected by this tiny animal was just 42 gallons! Another interesting thing is, this food storage was discovered inside a car that was parked next to a walnut tree!
The local man Bill Fischer parked his Chevy Avalanche near his home and there happened to be a tree with lots of walnuts. With an ever convenient situation and ‘equipment’ a red squirrel started ‘hard work’ and collected thousands of walnuts within a few days. When Fischer came back to his truck after a while, he was stunned to see thousands of walnuts all over the truck including in the radiator fan.
Fischer and others also wonder how a single squirrel managed to collect this much walnuts which was later found to be 42 gallons. Fischer is pretty sure that only one squirrel was there the whole time.
Anyway now let’s think about the poor hardworking red squirrel. How would the little guy spend this winter while all his savings were just taken out?
