Ireland has completed its one millionth vaccination as the Covid 19 vaccine roll out gains more and more pace. As per the data released by the HSE, 940,883 doses of vaccine have been given in total where 667,182 were first doses and 273,701 were second doses as of April 5th.
HSE head Paul Reid said that 19% of the people who are eligible for the vaccine have received their first dose while 8% among the total eligible population received their second dose.
Reports states that the State will get more and more Covid vaccines and people who didn’t administer the Covid vaccine yet could have no protection what so ever against this dreadful disease.
