The Great Indian Festival, MIND Mega Mela to be held on 3rd June 2023 at Alsaa Sports Centre Dublin.
MIND Mega Mela
MIND Mega Mela is an event that has participation from all Indian regional communities, new communities, and people from other ethnic backgrounds. Everyone would have the opportunity to showcase their culture through – Food, Music, and Dance performances. It would be a family-oriented entertainment day wherein kids and grownups would have various events to participate in and have a fun-filled day.

The formal inauguration has been planned to invite dignitaries which include the star guest, actress Honey Rose from India, as well as State and Council representatives of Ireland, to share their thoughts and address the gathering. The events will be starting at 9:00 am and will run until 8:00 pm. The breakdown of various events that are being organized is given below:
Indoor Competitions
Rubik’s Cube, Poem Recitation, Story Writing, Colouring, Pencil Sketching

Reels Competition, Photography Competition
“With a variety of competitions happening on one side, we have also planned to arrange fun activities for kids like Bouncy Castle, Face Painting, and Amusement Games to keep them occupied throughout the day. There will be a spread of food stalls to cater to various tastes and age groups. Three Music Bands have been organized to play live music throughout the
day”, the organizers said.
Dance, Music & Fun
The organizers said, “Indian Associations, Dance and Music Schools, and Cultural Organisations from various parts of Ireland have joined hands with us as Events Partners and will be performing on the stage, showcasing the culture and innate talents.”
“We are working very closely with the County Council Officials, consulting with them on the guidelines for running an event at this scale. We are very fortunate to have our local businesses supporting us in meeting our financial needs. This year we are very proud to have Indian companies taking Title Sponsorship of the event.”
“We have tied up with St. John Ambulance Ireland, who would be our First Aid Cover for the event. We envisage more than 2000 footfall and we have arranged extra outdoor toilet units, waste management, traffic management, and safety measures wherever possible.”

MIND, Ireland is a voluntary community organization established in February 2008. Based in Dublin and having an operational reach all over Ireland, the main aim of MIND, Ireland is to promote community engagement through community-based activities such as Sporting events (Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Badminton), Cultural events (celebrating Thiruvonam), Talent Shows (Kids Fest) and Family orientated events like Family Day, Family Tour, etc.
