Forty-six apartments at Google’s Bolands Mills Quarter in Dublin have been made available at reduced rents for key workers, including gardaí, nurses, and teachers.

The apartments will be offered at up to 36 per cent below market rates, with 35 two-bed units renting for €1,710 per month, ten three-bed units at €1,850, and one large three-bed apartment at €2,100.
To qualify, applicants must be key workers—those providing essential services in areas like healthcare, education, public safety, and infrastructure—and must demonstrate a connection to the local area, such as having lived or worked there for at least five years.
Clúid, a not-for-profit housing association, has been selected to lease and manage the apartments on a 25-year agreement with Google for a nominal fee. The collected rents will go toward property management.
Located on Barrow Street in Dublin 4, the homes are in a mix of renovated heritage buildings and new constructions. Applications open on February 19 and will remain open for two weeks.
