The Irish Government had decided to lift the 5km limit for non essential travel as Ireland reports the lowest number of cases since December. A total of 303 positive cases were reported and deputy chief medical officer Dr. Ronan Glynn said that the efforts by the people continue to make a considerable difference.

He said that the future is very hopeful and optimistic as they feel that their mechanisms to defend the virus have shown positive signs. The head of HSE, Paul Reid tweeted that “the light is shining more brighter”. The vaccines have reduced the vulnerability of the most weak people too.

The increased pace of vaccine rollout and other basic public health measures on a strict and continuous basis can bring down the cases more swiftly. The return of children to school is also a positive indication. Dr Glynn has requested the workers to continue their work from home policy and don’t consider the luxury of dropping and picking your child from school as a chance to roam around.
The department of health request people to continue following the social distancing method, put on the masks and use soap or sanitizer. A fully vaccinated body is not at all safe for ever. The person is only safe up to two weeks from the date of second dose vaccine.
