This weekend there will be a recruiting drive at Dublin Airport, with a variety of vacancies available.
There will be two sessions for interested candidates this Friday and Saturday at the Radisson Hotel near Dublin Airport.
Retail salespersons, airport search unit officers, cleaning team members, and technicians are among the positions that are highlighted.
Due to the range of contracts available, some positions can be especially well suited to students. Certain jobs are seasonal, making them suitable for people looking for summer employment.
A daa spokesperson said: “The Jobs Fair will give people a chance to find out more about the exciting jobs on offer, with great pay and conditions, and to ask questions in a relaxed environment. We are seeing big interest from students for our seasonal roles and have a variety of contract types available to suit all lifestyles, including 20, 30 and 40 hour contracts.”
There will be members of the daa available to address questions regarding the vacancies. At the employment expo, a number of companies, including Butler’s Chocolates, AirCoach, and Cafe Nero, will also highlight career opportunities.
Friday’s first session will run from 2 pm to 5 p.m., and Saturday’s event will be from 10 am to 1 p.m. The event is free, and people who are interested in employment at the airport are encouraged to come.
