Europcar invests €100 million in Irish expansion with three new locations

Car rental giant Europcar has announced a €100 million investment in Ireland, opening three new locations across Dublin, Donegal, and Tipperary while creating 15 new jobs.

The expansion includes new branches in Sandyford, Dublin, Clonmel, Tipperary, and Donegal Airport. Additionally, the company has relaunched its Dublin North Cloghran location as a dedicated B2B and Van Centre, specializing in business and commercial vehicle solutions.

The investment brings Europcar’s total Irish network to 28 locations nationwide, expanding access to mobility solutions for both consumer and business customers. The company emphasized its commitment to providing sustainable and cost-effective alternatives to private vehicle ownership.

Paul McNeice, Head of Country Ireland and Commercial Director, said the investment “underlines our commitment to Ireland and our confidence in its dynamic business environment.” He noted that Europcar aims to ensure flexible mobility solutions are accessible “wherever and whenever they are needed.”

The expansion supports various customer needs from daily commuting and recreational trips to business fleet solutions and vehicle replacement services. Europcar positions the investment as part of its broader strategy to expand mobility access throughout Ireland in 2025 and beyond.

The new jobs created span across the three locations, contributing to local employment in their respective communities while enhancing Europcar’s service capabilities nationwide.
