Galway’s battery tech firm Xerotech to create 100 new jobs

In order to keep up with the rising demand for its technology, battery system manufacturer Xerotech wants to hire more than 100 more employees.


All of the new posts will be filled by the end of the next year, according to the Galway-based company. Included in the positions are those in engineering, production, sales, marketing, R&D, quality assurance, machine building, supply chain, and testing.


The current openings listed on Xerotech’s careers page are for a variety of engineering, technical, and production line operator roles, all of which are based in the company’s Claregalway location.


Xerotech, which was founded in 2015, makes advanced lithium-ion battery systems for construction, agriculture and mining machinery.
The company claimed that customers from all around the world use its advanced battery solutions. In order to develop battery safety technology for space missions, Xerotech collaborated with the European Space Agency.
