Public transport bus service provider Go-Ahead Ireland will recruit 180 staff this year. The jobs will be across different areas where the company provides service.
Currently the company has over 200 buses and they cover 25 Outer Dublin Metropolitan Area (ODMA) routes and five Dublin commuter routes.
The new roles come as part of an ongoing business expansion to meet the implementation requirements of the new BusConnects networks re-design in Dublin, the company said. With the new recruitment, total strength of workers in Go-Ahead Ireland will become nearly 800.
The new roles include drivers, engineers, administration, supervisors and business support.
The newly recruited drivers will get a fully-paid training who currently do not have a license to drive bus.
