Heavy Rain & Weather Warnings In Ireland

The Met Office issued a weather warning for heavy rain in various parts of Ireland yesterday, with predictions of potential localized flooding and travel disruptions. This warning came as the nation braced for a wet and windy spell.

A yellow rain warning had been put in place for several regions, including Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, Donegal, and Connacht, from 6 p.m. yesterday until 3 a.m. today.

Additionally, a yellow wind warning had been issued for West Galway and Kerry, which will be in effect until 3 a.m. on Wednesday.

While the highest temperature is expected to reach 16 to 20 degrees Celsius, the weather outlook for the week suggests a mix of sun and rain, with heavy showers interspersed throughout.

Residents and travelers in the affected areas are advised to exercise caution and stay updated on weather developments as they unfold. It’s essential to take necessary precautions to ensure safety during these challenging weather conditions.
