Talks with Air India officials suggest the possibility of Air India expanding its services to Ireland. He lauded India’s technological advancements, particularly in mobile-based commerce, noting Ireland’s readiness to collaborate in this sector. Discussions also touched upon the delayed Free Trade Agreement (FTA), expected to materialize later this year. Additionally, both nations expressed solidarity regarding international issues, including the conflict in Gaza and Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. Coveney commended India’s strong stance in addressing global challenges. With Ireland’s support, India aims to navigate its trade aspirations while fostering international cooperation.
