A status Yellow Wind Warning has been issued for Donegal by Met Eireann.
Southwest winds veering northwest will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65 km/h with gusts of up to 100 km/h. Strong winds combined with high seas may lead to wave overtopping in coastal areas.
People should be very cautious while going out in the sea and it is preferred to stay home safe.
The warning will come into effect from 2 p.m. Sunday and will be in place until 3 a.m. on Monday.
