The Russian film crew have landed earth after the first ever successful movie shooting to be taking place in space. The director Klim Shipenko, actresse Yulia Peresild and cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy returned to Earth from International Space Station after 12 days of shoot. They were carried in a space ship called ‘Soyuz’ which landed in Kazakhstan today morning after a three and half hour journey.
The movie named ‘Challenge’ is the first to be shot in space and the crew balsted off to the International Space Station on October 5. A sequence where the doctor reaches a space station to carry out heart surgery on a crew member has been shot on the space station. Ms. Peresild played role of the doctor. The ailing crew member was played by cosmonaut Novitskiy who had been in the space station for the last six months.
The crew are due to be taken for a medical examination.
