The residents of Stillogran area were taken by surprise when they discovered their drinking water had turned burned today. This comes after Irish Water carried out in the area to fix a burst water main.
One Stillogran resident recounted how she got a fright when she went to have a drink of water from the tap earlier today.
“The water had turned brown, I couldn’t believe it. I was afraid to drink it and I immediately got onto Irish Water, who said that they were out fixing a burst waterman and that it should be back to normal by later this evening,” she gasped with surprise.
Meanwhile, Twitter users took to the platform to express their concern.
One resident commented: “Anyone else seeing water discolouration in Stillorgan today?”
Another posted : “Crews from Irish Water out fixing burst water main in Stillorgan, hopefully be fixed soon.”
