As predicted by Met Éireann, temperatures will drop dramatically on Monday night, with lows in the range of -3 to 2 degrees, resulting in widespread frost.
Tuesday will continue to be cold, but the night will be noticeably milder, with lows between 3 and 6 degrees.
The rest of the week is predicted to be gloomy but dry, with rainy periods beginning on Wednesday and Thursday.
