Vertiv to create 200 new jobs in north-west Ireland as operations expand

Vertiv has announced plans to create around 200 new jobs in Ireland’s north-west region over the next six months, as part of a significant expansion of its operations.

The technology manufacturer said the recruitment drive is being driven by growing global demand for its products, which support critical digital infrastructure including data centres and communication networks.

Vertiv currently operates three manufacturing facilities in:

  • Campsie, Derry

  • Burnfoot, Donegal

  • Letterkenny

The company confirmed it will expand operations across these sites to meet rising international demand.

The new roles are expected to span manufacturing, engineering and support functions. Recruitment is set to begin immediately.

The expansion is seen as a boost for employment in the north-west, strengthening the region’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing and technology infrastructure.

Vertiv has maintained a strong presence in Ireland for decades, with its facilities playing a key role in supplying global markets.
