A woman is in a serious condition in hospital after struck a by a Luas tram in Dublin. The incident happened at Steeven’s Lane on Thursday afternoon. The woman in her 40s was walking the road and suddenly got struck by a tram on the red line.
Gardaí responded to reports of the collision at around 2.15pm. The woman was removed from the scene by ambulance to St James’s Hospital. Her condition is understood to be serious.
