A woman is receiving treatment for serious burn injuries following an alleged assault at a home in Clondalkin, west Dublin. The incident occurred around 10.10am on Tuesday, and a man was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Gardaí have preserved the scene for a technical examination and have appointed a senior investigating officer. An incident room has been set up at Clondalkin Garda Station as part of the ongoing investigation.
Authorities are appealing for witnesses, particularly anyone with video footage from the Oak Downs area between 9.30am and 10.20am on Tuesday, to come forward.
