Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani has left the country after the Taliban terrorists entered the capital city of Kabul. Mr Ghani will take refuge in Tajikistan as per the latest reports. The Taliban insurgents had reached outskirts today on Sunday, but said they were now being sent into the city, the BBC reports.
After Taliban capturing many of the cities and provinces, people have taken asylum in Kabul. But there are now speculations that the Taliban fighters entering there too and taking power from the government. The power transfer would be peaceful as per the sources. There are also reports that the city will not be attacked and the citizens will be safe. The terrorists started their war and capturing provinces following the withdrawal of US-led forces after 20 years of occupation.
The barbarian ruling of the Taliban have been ousted after US-led army came to help to restore democracy, but the country never saw an actual comeback as a republic. US President Joe Biden has defended the US withdrawal, saying he could not justify an “endless American presence in the middle of another country’s civil conflict”.
