According to the government’s chief scientific advisor, rapid antigen tests may help people to skip the mandatory hotel quarantine and it may help revive the aviation industry safely. Director general of Science foundation Ireland, Professor Mark Ferguson had called for immediate action on rolling out pilot schemes for antigen testing.
