The Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) seized a BMW, watches, jewellery, and a sizable amount of cash after an operation on Friday in Dublin.
On Friday morning in Dublin 13, officers searched eight locations—one residential and seven commercial.
In addition to about €15,000 in cash, a BMW X7 M Sport with a true price of €146,000 was seized during the searches.
Additionally, two Rolex watches and jewellery with a combined value of over €20,000 were seized, along with documents related to business and real estate dealings.
The operation on Friday, according to the Garda, was a significant advancement in ongoing investigations into the property of an international organised crime group engaged in “the cultivation, sale, and supply of controlled drugs through a network of Cannabis Grow Houses, Brothel keeping, and the subsequent laundering of their criminal conduct’s proceeds.”
