Three Bus Connects routes in Dublin have been changed again following widespread complaints from passengers about delays and disruption.

The updated changes affect routes 80, 23 and 24, which operate through Chapelizod and Finglas. The revised arrangements came into effect yesterday.
These routes were originally reconfigured last October as part of Phase 7 of the BusConnects programme. However, commuters reported serious issues, including longer journey times, missed connections and unreliable services.
Passenger dissatisfaction grew rapidly, with strong protests and repeated complaints highlighting the impact on daily travel, especially for workers, students and elderly users who depend on these routes.
In response, transport authorities moved to amend the routes once again in an attempt to reduce delays and improve reliability.
Officials say the changes are intended to ease pressure on affected communities, though passengers remain cautious and are calling for closer monitoring and clearer communication before further alterations are made.
