After the seizure of cannabis worth €2.4 million yesterday in South Dublin, two individuals have been arrested.
Officers from the Garda National Drugs and Organized Crime Bureau stopped two vehicles in Tallaght and also searched a home in Knocklyon.
Following the searches, 120 kg of cannabis herb were located.
Two 40-year-old men were arrested and are being held at the Rathfarnham and Tallaght Garda stations.
The drugs have been sent for further analysis and investigations are ongoing, gardaí said.
