A cyclist in his 70s is being treated for serious injuries in hospital following a road traffic collision in Dublin yesterday morning. The crash took place on the Stillorgan Road in Donnybrook.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to the scene after the incident.
The cyclist who was seriously injured was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital and later transferred to Beaumont Hospital where he received treatment for his injuries. No other injuries were reported.
Forensic collision investigators carried out an examination of the scene which has now reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to any road users who may have video footage or anyone who witnessed the incident on the Stillorgan Road (N11) to contact them.
