Gardaí have seized drugs worth around €1.4 million during searches carried out in Clare and Limerick over the past 24 hours.
Cocaine worth an estimated €779,450 was seized during a search operation in counties Clare and Limerick Today.
Yesterday, worth an estimated €643,000 were also discovered during a series of searches.
Five people were arrested as a result, and one of the men has been charged and is due to appear before a special sitting of Limerick District Court this evening at 7 pm.
Two of those remain in custody at Henry Street Garda Station in Limerick, while two others have been released, with files to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí conducted the searches under Operation Coronation, in conjunction with Operation Tara, and investigations are ongoing.
