A fundraising campaign has been launched following the sudden death of Vijayakumar P Narayanan, an Indian national who passed away Wednesday night in Dublin. Vijayakumar, who had been working for Eirebus in Ireland for just 18 months, leaves behind a wife and two children—aged 13 and 11—in India who were dependent on his income.

The initiative, organized by close friend Yedukrishnan Keerikkattu Jayakumar, aims to cover the costs of repatriating Vijayakumar’s remains to India and providing immediate financial support to his grieving family. With no relatives in Ireland, the community’s response has become crucial for the family.
“This is a devastating loss for a family who has lost their sole provider,” said Jayakumar. The campaign is seeking contributions for funeral arrangements and emergency assistance for Vijayakumar’s dependents in India.
Community members unable to donate financially are encouraged to share the fundraiser information to extend its reach during this difficult time.
