One of the Most “Instagrammable” Places in the World in 2023 has been named as Dublin.
On Wednesday, the international travel website Big 7 Travel officially unveiled its list of the “World’s Most Instagrammable Places 2023.” Their annual hashtag tally, which is now in its fifth year, analyses the most ‘gram-worthy’ cities. One of the Most “Instagrammable” Places in the World in 2023 is Dublin.
The travel website ranked Dublin as the 27th best city out of 50, noting that “Its plethora of mediaeval history, charming pubs, street art and lively culture are just a few things that make it an Instagramer’s dream”.
“Wander the halls of the world’s most epic library, aka, The Library of Trinity College and bring your #bookworm aesthetic full circle. And then clink a few pints of Guinness in the uber photogenic Temple Bar area.”
The list was created using a thorough scoring system that considered the number of hashtags and TikTok views for each location, as well as sample survey data from Big 7 Media’s 1.5 million audience and their international editorial team.
The final results are ranked according to how appealing they are to the eye and how well-liked they are on social media.
The complete list includes 50 locations, including major cities like Istanbul, Paris, and Tokyo, on almost every continent. Table Mountain in South Africa and Wadi Rum in Jordan are two additional Top 50 Instagrammable locations you should add to your list of “must-visit” locations.
Sydney was ranked first for both 2019 and 2020, Japan was first for 2021, and Singapore was first for 2022.
